Name: Grady Shamus Lennon

Age: 36
Birthdate: January 8th, 1971
Occupation: Grady is now the Astronomy professor at Hogwarts and is also the Head of Ravenclaw house.
Bloodline: Pureblood
Heritage: 100% Irish, and no he's not a leprechaun!
Personal History: Grady Shamus Lennon was born to Garrett and Cathleen Lennon on January 8th, 1971. They raised their children in Donegal, Ireland, where most of their close relatives live. He was the second oldest of 5 kids total, 3 boys and 2 girls. His father was a former Gryffindor that works at the Ministry, while his mother a former Ravenclaw and is a Cursebreaker for Gringott's - all of the sons were Ravenclaws and the daughters were Gryffindors. Grady was always considered a disappointment to his father because when he was an infant he didn't grow like his older brother had grown, and even now he only stands at 3 foot 8 inches. His mother always supported him in all of his dreams and was always the one that he could turn to to talk about things to since his father didn't approve of the fact that he had a midget for a son. Grady was always sort of looked down upon by his brothers and father simply because he really couldn't do normal things with them when he was younger. All of this caused his sisters to dress him up and eventually put make-up on him because they could sort of hold him hostage since they were bigger than he was. It wasn't until he got his acceptance letter to Hogwarts and his younger brother didn't that his father began to accept that he was human and accept him.
Grady and his siblings were never raised as pureblooded snobs because his parents didn't support Voldemort but fully support Dumbledore and his doings. They raised the five of their children like normal Irish children, and never really liked to use magic in their household until their oldest child graduated from Hogwarts because they didn't want to encourage their children to attempt any of the spells they cast. The Lennon's were never particularly wealthy either. They made due with what they had and certainly were never in any kind of debt, but they didn't have any large ammount of excess money lying around either.
Personality: Generally Grady is a very nice and calm person but there are certain times when people can tip him over the edge. He is very stubborn about certain matters (like how purebloods can be so foul and how he thinks Voldemort is wrong). When he gets mad though? Well it's best to steer clear his path because he has an extremely horrible temper. Grady would never unleash his wrath on a student though unless they were doing something extremely ludicrous and need a good yelling at. You're more than likely going to see Grady in a good mood than a bad one though.
He is very sensitive on the topic of his father as well. He doesn't like to talk about him or how he was so cruel to him when he was a child by neglecting him. That's part of the reason why he generally comes off as more of a friend than a teacher to a lot of the kids at Hogwarts (and was nearly put in Hufflepuff as well). There is the exception that some students honestly just don't like him because of his alignment and because he befriended their enemy so it's quite possible that he'll be found strung high by his knickers due to some punk students. For the most part, Grady's a big pushover when it comes to the younger years as well.
As fun as being all of the students friends can be (because of the different personalities he meets after classes), Grady likes to hang around the other teachers as well. It's nice to generally talk to someone who's his age and talk about things other than 'Who they fancy' or 'Who's their next victim'. For the most part, Grady is a people-person. He loves to be around people, but as much as he loves to be around people he also needs 'me-time' as well which is one of the main reasons he was placed in Ravenclaw. He enjoys reading, but more learning about things. Grady's also a source of useless knowledge as well. Ask him about what's happening in the wizarding world via the Daily Prophet and he likely won't know. Ask him about something useless like what the function of that rubber duck really is? You'll get a 20 minute disertation!

His temper - Sometimes Grady finds himself in a pickle because when he thinks he's right he becomes very narrow minded and doesn't really like to budge his opinion - especially when it comes to Voldemort vs. Dumbledore
Muggle artifacts - Grady likes to collect muggle things, especially their toys and things that run on electricity. It's a wonder that he doesn't teach muggle studies!
Traveling - Being the size that he is, it often wears Grady out to walk around Hogwarts so much. Often he'd rather apparate or fly but seemings as though Hogwarts is an apparating-free zone he probably won't be doing a whole lot of traveling around because of how it hurts his legs to walk such a far distance.
Children - He likes to be everyone's friend and often times comes off too friendly to some kids and they end up taking granted of his passive attitude which lands him in big trouble with the Headmaster/Headmistress.
